People...

(random portraits i collected from tumblr and pinterest.)

...i love that moment when your eyes and a strangers eyes meet for the first (and sometimes only) time.  many people may not think much of it, since it only occurs for a spilt second.  or it may not even happen too often since a lot of people just walk with their eyes on the ground, or on their phone, or on their destination.  but for some reason, i like to make fond memories or certain instances that happen when another human beings eyes catches mine. especially in big crowds.
the best times are when i travel abroad.  i guess its the excitement that i will probably never look into those eyes ever again in my entire life since we live in different parts of the world... but for that moment in time, you acknowledged each others existence.  it's actually a bit of a sad realization now, but at the same time wonderful.
but my absolute favourite is when i take a picture of my current adventure, and in the very far background there is someone looking at my camera.  whether they are just walking by, or theyre trying to looking for someone in the distance but i caught their eye instead, or i just accidentally caught their glance as they turned around by chance.  they will forever be remembered in a photograph now.

anyway... that's just the thought that came into my head when i was looking through these portraits of beautiful strangers looking back at me.

Beautifully written Aron! I used to get flustered when I locked eyes with a stranger for the first time but now I've come to savor such moments. You summed it up nicely.

Lily Collins looks gorgeous! I know people who can't stand her brows, but I think they're fantastic!

Anyway, I miss you Aron! What have you been up to? Jonathan was here recently and he stayed with me for a week. It was a great reunion after eight years!

Anyway, you're on an iPhone now right? Do you use WhatsApp? If you do, you should add me and let's catch up. My number is +6584912171! Can't wait!

What a beautiful way of looking at a moment that is very awkward for me, ha ha. It's nice to know that somehow, everyone is linked with one another, even for just a fleeting moment.
