Miho's amazing bentos! お弁当♡

...WOW...

please just take a second to really think about and appreciate how much care goes into making these works of art.  the detail, precision, colour choice, background placement, creativity, and just time that goes into this.  i am truly blown away by these very special bento boxes.  when i think about Japanese culture, and theyre attention to detail and respect for food and presentation, this is by far a most excellent example!

here is the artist's instagram that i just stumbled across tonight: mihokoma  ♥♥♥

すごくびくりした!ミホさんのお弁当はとても巣部らしいですよ〜!
本当に大好きです! キレイとヘルシーだよ。

アロンさん、コメントありがとうございました!
本当にうれしかった。
When I was in Japan, I stayed with a host family for 1 week,
and my host mama made me a bentou every single day for school!
They were not as decorated as these, but I was still
very appreciative, because of the time and love that went into the bentou.
And bentous are very time consuming!
とってもすばらしいね!

Such a meticulous effort with all those patterns on the top - how can she eat after doing all that? Amazing bentos.
