...now keep in mind that i just learned weaving and crocheting like two weeks ago, so i'm not very good yet! even though i'm quite pleased and surprised at what i have accomplished so far, i still have a lot yet to learn. i really want to strengthen my abilities in these techniques.
the first one is of a abstract woven form. i'm aiming towards the themes of birth and transformation... i'm still going to extend the end to a wider opening and have little wooden maquette's coming out of it.
and these were just some crocheted mushrooms i made yesterday. i'm becoming slowly better at crocheting. i thought these came out really cute! :-p
...and i would like to say a big thank you to Hello Sandwich for sending me a nice christmas present!!! she gave me a copy of her gift wrapping zine, along with a sweet note. it made me smile so much! ほんとうありがとう、エボニーちゃん！！とてもすき〜！
ps: tonight i made myself some yaki-tomorokoshi (Japanese grilled corn)
