we've been going to a lot of thrift stores lately and collecting many different jars and other glass containers. at first making fun terrariums, but now i thought i'd go a little more aquatic and make little aquariums!

this is also a tribute to my dad who raised fish his whole life. Happy Fathers day!

So cute! I had two goldfish but had to give them to a friend when I moved home to the U.S. for six months last year. I miss them :-(

Looks nice but I hope this fellow doesn't have to spend his whole life alone in tiny jar. :)
I'm dreaming of building cambodian biotope for my siamese fighting fish Rupert.

I used to keep fishes but unfortunately they all didn't last very long, I guess mine was a bit high maintance? Your fish looks pretty comfy in it's home, will it have other playmates soon?

I really, really like these, but please, don't let that fish in that tiny jar, it's extremely cruel. it needs an aquarium that isn't round, and that has at least 3 to 4 times more space than that jar, or it'll go insane, and die from stress very quickly, without being able to let you know :(

yes, i know, i sadly realized that too :-(
i transferred some into a much larger home, and one of the fishes even gave birth!! so i have more babies to take care of. so i will definitely find bigger homes for them. thank you for your concern...sorry for worrying you
