those of you who live in Japan, you really are lucky. there is such a beautiful balance of care and aestheticism. even i'm proud of the Japanese. (photos by Teppei Takahashi)

I'm not Japanese, but I live in Yokohama. My lifestyle is similar to a few of those pictures--especially the bookstore one.

even the small apartments and houses in japan look comfortable. i had a chance to live with a host family in japan 7 years ago and it was the most amazing thing ever.

the sights, sound, fashion, food and how neatly arranged makes me really happy.
and the fact that i accidentally left my bag in a public toilet and it's still there after 20 minutes. here, it'll disappear in like, 5 minutes or less.

the japanese lifestyle is so beautiful. It's funny, cause I was talking to some Japanese exchange students last year, and they were telling me that they want to be more/live like Americans. And here we are, living in America, wanting to be in Japan.
it's so fascinating.

spot on.

amazes me how most apartments in japan have the exact same kitchen designs. my kitchen in tokyo looked just like that one.
