i'm probably going to overkill this since it has been covered quite thoroughly already (by iinekore, hello sandwich, gotasalviento, and 2 or 3 things i know) ...but i just can't help myself!
i am TOO inspired by Tsuyatsuya Kurosawa's photos of Tokyo's potted plants. i am in love with this lifestyle!! it pretty much sums up and encompasses my reason for this obsession.
upon finding 2 or 3 things i know blog, a stunning photo on her page caught my eye which led me to these amazing photos by Asako Narahashi. this first one of Fuji-san is so striking.

I never really paid much attention to the potted gardens in Japan before I saw Tatsutaya's photos on some people's blogs, but now I smile at them when I see potted gardens around, well which is all the time!
One day I'll have a potted plant collection! One day! :)
like hiki said, i haven't really paid that much attention to potted plants except when they were so eye-catchingly beautifully arranged. they really show the planter's sense of style, don't they.
