New Life!

Wow, I feel like so much as happened in such a short amount of time!

Just reading my last blog entry, I remember that moment back at home in Hawaii. that early calm morning on the day I would leave.  Seeing my family and friends off seems like such a long time ago already... sad, but still alright.

Today was actually my first day on the job!  a lot of paper work and training ahead, but I am still excited to jump right into and see where this new career takes me!

Since I moved to Japan, I had a little more than 2 weeks to explore and have fun!  met a lot of new people, seen some very familiar and friendly faces, ate some delicious foods, made some new friends, and explored a lot of unknown places already!

As I sit here in my apartment in Saitama, it's 5 minutes until 8pm, and I just finished eating my dinner.  I have a little homework from work to finish, and then I'm off to bed!  I have a long day ahead tomorrow.

I know I must take more pictures and share with you all, but now that I am starting a new job in this new country, I might not have as much free time as I would like.

I have more pictures of when I visited Hiki-san in her shop, so I will definitely do my next post on her lovely little boutique!  Until then, here are just a few pictures I took on my digital camera.

thanks for all your encouragement and support!!  I cant wait to share much more with you all!  I want to visit more cafe's and parks, since most of the things I see are buildings and city life.  see you later!

Hi! Congratulations on your new work. I think working in Japan is really fun. Though there'll be language barriers. Working in the country that you really love is the best.

Anyway, I've been reading your blog for quite some time. :D
