Deer Nara

i think i was a little obsessed with the deer in Nara! they were just so beautiful and cute! seeing them run through the parks and forests, and also walking around the city like everyday people was just so interesting to see. when you feed them, some deer also bow their heads down to ask for the cookie! it was so cute! but also kind of scary because once they know you have cookies, they all come running to you and surround you and also bite at your shirt and bag if you dont feed them! hahaha :-D

but overall, Nara was so beautiful! i bought so many deer gifts :-P

ps: today i am VERY excited because i will be meeting someone very special for the first time! he is actually very well-known throughout Tokyo as a famous photographer, but i will mention about this later ;-)

"The lady that shooing the deer" photo is funny. We have something similar with this, but it's a monkey forest instead. Hee, who did you meet there? :-o

Aw, deers are so cute! It's almost the same as the monkey forest in Bali. If they smell bananas on you, they will come after you!

all the deer is so cute!! like what sun and jay said, it does remind me to the monkey forest in bali, except that this one is so much better because it's deer!! and as well they get to walk around on the streets and shops - random but cute.

oh these deer are so beautiful, how sweet to be with them up close!

can't wait to hear about this photographer. i happen to live in the same town with a Pulitzer prize winning one and we have come to know one another a bit (he also did an amazing documentary recently). it is humbling to say the least to be in his presence, but he is so kind and down to earth- hope you enjoy meeting this one!

ah the deer are so cute! although i think horses are scarier when they know you have food ~ i went to a field where there were tons, i was so glad that they were roped down.
