my Japan apartment!

i just love this poster The Gap is using this season as one of their visual displays! not only because of this handsome guy (hehe), but also that hat! i am totally going to search for this type of hat when i get to Japan. i even asked one of the visual managers in the store if i could have the poster when they were done with it... and she, of course, said no :-p

anyway... i finally booked my apartment in Japan!!!!!!!!
i payed for the deposit last night and i just read my confirmation email for my months reservation! i can't wait, i'm so excited to live on my own in Tokyo! the apartment is in a town called Kakinokizaka, which is where Hiki-san mentioned to me that she also coincidentally grew up in! it's located somewhat below Shibuya in central Tokyo (if you look from afar on a map, haha). i'll be moving-in in basically THREE WEEKS!!! :-D

I am so happy for you!!! It is going to be such an exciting time! I don't understand why the manager would not let you have the poster. The poster is lovely and the guy in it is pretty cute. Oh if you find the hat in Japan let me know please! I adore hats and I am always trying to collect them.

nice, I`m in Kobe right now, but leaving Japan tomorrow. and probably moving to Yokosuka in Nov. haha.
anyway I hope you enjoy it here (I know you will). are you gonna look for work teaching English? that would allow you to stay for a year so something to think about. (that`s why I`m moving here).
take care!
