when i was in elementary school, i remember watching the Moomins on our local cable television. but what i didn't remember until i found this now, was that our theme song was sung in Hawaiian!! not many people in Hawaii can speak / understand Hawaiian, unless they studied it or is Hawaiian themselves (and thats a VERY small population), so it amazes me how global the Moomins were、especially how they did a show for our little islands! we even had a Moomins boutique store in one of our malls... they closed a long time ago, i really wish i took advantage of that :-(

from reading your blog i had to look up moomins to figure out what they were. i've seen lots of stuff about them online from various friends, but i never knew what they were. the cartoon looks cute :)
I've watched this as a child too!
Watched it, heard it in Spanish as a child in Spain. How wonderful to hear it in Hawaiian.
I watched moomins when I was small as well.
At that time, I was not so clear about the content of this cartoon but, til now, I still like its relaxing and comfortable drawing.
