i might have mentioned before, but here is one of my favourite Japanese fashion magazines 'Cazi Cazi.' i am not much of a high-fashion person, so i really appreciate their street snaps of simple yet flashy collections. so i just took some inside photos from last months issue... hope you enjoy!
though, can i just say i really dont like how the "image" of Japanese street fashion has been marginalized to JUST the Harajuku lolita's and candy girls. if you just type in "Japanese street fashion" in google, all you get are kids who look like they're getting ready for halloween! haha i can't stand that :-p
this past week i have been really busy with school and work (which you can probably tell from my lack of updates...). it was midterms so i had a lot readings and projects due, and lately i have been working a lot because of the holidays coming up so it's been tiring :-/
it's been much more windy and cooler here in Hawaii, so we know we are going into our "winter." hahah, but that means we can bring out the scarves and coats, yay!
i hope you all have been doing great! i can't thank you enough for viewing my blog!
:-)

So good! I love Japanese fashion! My favorite! People just don't have the one look, as opposed to Sydney...
yes! I agree with your terminology of Japanese Street Fashion. Whenever my friends bring up the word Harajuku or Japanese Fashion, They always rave about Lolita, gyaru, and visual kei looks when in reality, there's a lot more to it. :) Wow. Winter in Hawaii? Sorry for my thoughtless statement but I thought Hawaii would always be summer. XD
I love the fashions you have highlighted here. Wishing you good luck with your school work. So glad to see you posting again!
The things i love about this magazine is that, all the clothes are wearable, haha, not like the extreme look of lolita, etc. Thank you for sharing again. And good luck with all the stuff you've been doing! :-)
Yes! This is the true Japanese street fashion! I agree that the extreme Harajuku looks get too much publicity. Thanks for posting. I hope to find this magazine at Kinokuniya in the San Francisco Bay Area.
this looks like a very interesting magazine, i shall have to keep my eyes out for this one. japanese fashion magazines always seem to be some of the best, one of my favorites is "fudge magazine"
i really want to go to japan! one day i will. ohh summer or winter i'm sure it's always nice in hawaii! good luck with all your study aron.
I've always thought of Japanese style to be very similar in a way to what we have here in Sweden. Simple, understated, but with a lot of thought and refinement. I love these shots.
I love these - and I agree with Vanessa, it's very Scandinavian?/Danish too.
some japanese guys just do it so right
