when i think of "summer", certain things come to mind. such as the sound of a lawnmower, very still days, iced tea, taking naps, going to the beach, shave ice, friends coming back home...

In answer to your question, Summer in Melbourne (where I live) is wonderful. I love the rooftop and moonlight cinema (movies screened in the park!), the beach at the end of the day, staying out late, berry smoothies and the general feeling of long lazy days...

summer is patio's, brunch, biking in the city (because I am too scared to bike in the snow!), gardening, light summer dresses and sandals.
