I have never lived somewhere with the four seasons change the world around you; since growing up in Hawaii is basically summer all year long. So I am very excited/scared at the same time to move to Japan where I actually have to buy winter wear!
All the times I've visited Japan just so happened to be in the comfortable Fall season in October, so I never had to worry too much about how to dress. But I have yet to experience Japans frigid winter (which I think will be kind of fun), but the thing I'm more nervous about is Japan's scorching summer! Everyone is telling me horrible stories about just dripping in sweat even if you are not moving or doing anything.... oh gosh.
Anyway, I'm just really excited to dress up (and down) in Japan in general! Fashion is always fun no matter how high-end or low-budget you are, so getting to live in one of the worlds top fashion capitals is beyond thrilling for me too!
Just 3 more weeks to go!!! oh my gosh... I still have so much to do and prepare. It's coming up so fast! O_O

Reading about you getting prepared to go to Japan is so exciting, especially since as you mentioned the weather is different. I am also looking forward/nervous to experiencing the colder seasons since California also usually has warm weather. I already experienced the heat, which really sucked :/ but it was bearable. Good luck with everything :D
Good luck with the move over and I hope we can catch up somewhere in Tokyo all wrapped up in our winter woollies!
Good luck with the move. I loved the change of seasons in Japan when I lived there. Summer is indeed quite something but Winter wasn't as cold as I thought it'd be.
Good luck, good luck, good luck!
It is always so good to have a reason to expand your wardrobe :)
Three more weeks is so quick! But yes, living in a country with four seasons is kind of wonderful in my experience. You'll love it!
Hope, everything goes fine in Japan but I'd like to mention that whenever I look at your blog (over the years..) it makes me calm, happy, satisfied with life and be fine with all the little sweet details. Thank you.
Hi~ good luck on moving to Japan. I think it's quite scary yet fun.

I can already imagine all the great sweaters you'll be acquiring this autumn! :) I was in Korea/Japan this past summer, and I actually found myself losing my California tan during the three months. There's always plenty to do underground/indoors. Anyway, best of luck on your move! Can't wait to keep up with your adventures.
