cat stuff from my tumblr.
hello hello! just thought i'd do a random post.
so, 2 weeks ago i went sailing on a friends boat and ended up dropping my phone in the ocean, thus ending the life of my beloved iphone. since then, i have been borrowing a very old phone from my friend which is only good for calling and texting. i actually got used to it pretty fast and find it quite peaceful to be away from all the hyper attention i gave to my smart phone before this.
i'll just wait to get the new iphone when i move to Japan next month :-p
other than that, my visa finally got approved and now i continue my desperate hunt to find the perfect Japanese apartment. cross your fingers for me!
hope you all had a nice weekend! and now two wonderful quotes to get us through this week ahead:
"And the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, I have really good days." - Ray Wylie Hubbard
"Have more than you show, speak less than you know." - William Shakespeare

Ah that's why there are no updates on your instagram :-S So sorry for your phone, but congratulations for your visa approval! One step closer :-)
I hope you find a good apartment :]
what's your instagram?
+, I hope you'll find a good apartment and it must be very exciting to move to Japan! :D
My friend gave the link to me to watch it, here's the link,

I haven't seen it all though just some of the episodes.
:-)
Hehe that kitty looking in the mirror is so cute.
I like that Shakespeare quote.
I've been wondering where you were on Instagram! Haha, how strange and indicative of our culture that things are so entwined with what we do "online". But good to have a break every now and then. You can focus on getting things together for your big move and spending time with loved ones before you leave Hawaii.
XOXO
i do miss your posts on instagram!! oh man, i don't know if i can live without my iphone. wish you all the best hunting apartment in japan, it's all so exciting!
Hey :) I found your blog by chance. I suppose I don't have to repeat that it's a wonderful oasis of positive stuff. I noticed also, that you're moving to Tokyo, which I think can be only a great adventure.
And I remembered a quote of Yann Martel from Life of Pi “If you took the city of Tokyo and turned it upside down and shook it you would be amazed at the animals that fall out: badgers, wolves, boa constrictors, crocodiles, ostriches, baboons, capybaras, wild boars, leopards, manatees, ruminants, in untold numbers. There is no doubt in my mind that that feral giraffes and feral hippos have been living in Tokyo for generations without seeing a soul.” . It doesn't contain cats but still an interesting point about Tokyo. :P
Best of luck!
Amalia
